What an Incredible Week at the Olympic Weightlifting Training Camp in Romania! 🇷🇴
Between February 12–19, 2023, we hosted Training Camp No. 3 in the breathtaking mountains of Cheile Grădiștei, Romania. and this one was truly special.
After years of uncertainty and restrictions caused by the COVID period, this was the first training camp where athletes could reunite, train together again, and rebuild the community spirit of weightlifting.
This week-long experience was not only about technical improvement. It was a celebration of returning to normal training, sharing the barbell again, and reconnecting with the energy that makes Olympic weightlifting so powerful. For everyone involved, this training camp marked a fresh beginning.

Above all, we want to offer a heartfelt thank you to the athletes who joined this edition.
Your trust, your energy, and your willingness to travel and train again made it possible for these camps to continue and grow into what they are today.
International Athletes Who Joined Us
We were honored to welcome a highly motivated group of lifters from around the world:
Rafael Toscano – Brazil
Paweł Siemaszko – Poland
Josh Bringas – United States
Jonathan Levitas – United States
These athletes played a major role in rebuilding the atmosphere and momentum of our training camps. Their open attitude, hard work, and commitment helped set the foundation for all future camps that now take place regularly.
Key Highlights From Training Camp No. 3
During this training camp, athletes participated in multiple focused technique sessions covering both the snatch and clean & jerk. Each session was designed to rebuild consistency, improve movement efficiency, and help athletes regain their rhythm after long periods of disrupted training.
We worked on:
Positional strength and bar path correction
Timing and coordination in the lifts
Overhead stability and receiving positions
Pulling mechanics and balance
Warm-up structure and mobility routines
In addition to the technical sessions, the athletes also enjoyed recovery protocols such as sauna, stretching sequences, and low-intensity movement sessions — all crucial for restoring the body after phases of reduced training volume.
But what truly made this week unforgettable was the emotion of training together again. Shared meals, deep conversations, laughter, and renewed motivation filled every day. The sense of gratitude in the room was strong — everyone understood how meaningful it was to be back on the platform, learning and growing as a team.

A Message From Coach Gabriel Sincraian
“Training Camp No. 3 will always be special for me. It was the first one after COVID, and the athletes who joined helped rebuild everything we have today. Their support and energy gave life back to these camps, and I am grateful for each of them.”
